Microsoft makes you an offer you can’t understand

Those crazy, Jew-hating Microsoft boys are at it again with yet more ways to offload the 360 Elite, now by making a rebate offer more complex than requesting a waiver at the city courthouse: • Consumer goes to:  www.xbox.com/eliterebate/ • Consumer gets a code from above site and then clicks ...

Actual news!

We tend to avoid posting news segments here. I'm way too far removed from caring about breaking news (I own a game store and I only heard about the PS3 Slim three days after it released) and Mike is... well. I have no idea. He posted on Kotaku until they ...

God Hand. Hell yeah.

We got more of the recently out-of-print God Hand at the store. NOW I'm excited. Playing God Hand is like strapping your face to a bottle rocket and then aiming it at your neighbor's cat, with the same net result. This game is simply one of the greatest things ever pressed ...

Price drops: The unexpected

The pigs are currently winging their way to the heavens, as Square-That Other Square have finally done the unprecedented; lowered the price on their DS games. As you probably know, Square is the only company to outprice Nintendo on their own console, and they have a history of killing production ...

Price drops: Fracture, Rhapsody, and Wild Arms XF

Nobody loved them. Now they're cheaper. So please, love them. As usual, clicking the box art takes you to the product page.

I didn’t want to have to do this…

Okay, I'm pissed at Steam. You should be too. Remember when Gabe Newell was promising that this would lower to cost of games to the user? Well, aside from sales, I just see Valve pocketing the difference and ordering a few dozen more turkeys to be delivered to Newell's door. As ...

Somebody seriously wrote this

"With Risen, Piranha Bytes introduces a fresh, new setting. The game’s protagonist is shipwrecked after a storm and finds himself on a mysterious island. An active volcano dominates the scene. Ancient temple ruins have recently risen from the ground, and bizarre creatures infest the island." So it's either Crysis or Serious ...

Buck up, Sony/Free Command & Conquer games

If any of you happens to be a suicide counselor, we need you to go over to Mike's apartment. His PS3 has broken down and he's sequestered himself to his room, playing Shenmue in some kind of self-flaggelating apology to himself. We're pretty Sony-oriented over this way, but we're not ...

BLOOD BOWL, A MANLY GAME FOR MEN WHO ARE MANLY, AND MEN

I fell in love with this game in the middle of the tutorial. A little text box instructed me to tell one of my line backers to commit a foul. A right click brought a human player football player to run up to an unconscious rat man and kick him ...
